 LATEST BREAKING NEWS:

July 24th 2010-  Carpeteers would like to announce their latest team changes. We have now signed Chris Warburton [ Warbz ] on a full time basis to play in defence with former defender Gavin Kitts moving between the sticks as our new goalkeeper. Scott Laughton is also a possible target to bolster the Carps attack after smashing in the goals to win us the Lee Jago Tournament last week, while former GK Shaun Moley Hicks continues to recover well from his motorcycle crash, where he sustained horrific arm injuries forcing him to retire from being our number 1 keeper.

July 17th 2010-  Rank outsiders Carpeteers took the Lee Jago memorial competition by storm today to shock the big boys at the St Mewan grounds. Carps topped their group without conceding and saw off St Austell first team in a Semi Final penalty shoot out before scoring in injury time in extra time to be crowned as shock champions. CLICK HERE FOR PHOTO !

June 15th 2010- Carpeteers have signed new goalkeeper Kai Stone after Shaun Moley Hicks had his career ended last week in a serious motorcycle accident. Moley was forced to go under the knife in a near 5 hour op to have his broken arms and hands pinned with metal plates and has been told he wont play in goal again. He will be a big loss to Carps and we wish him well in his recovery.

April 27th 2010- Carpeteers finished 4th in their 4th Premier League season with a 100th competitive win vs Neil Truan Motors. Andy Geach got the goal that relegated Truan. Carps were happy to finish 4th after a disastrous season filled with countless injuries and suspensions. Puls8Dbs threw away a 3-1 lead on the night to Tesco by losing 4-3 which cost us 3rd place, and the point Carps had docked eralier in the season for playing an unknown suspended player would also prove to cost us 3rd place in the table.
